I am a rock, carpenter / joiner by trade and bought this tool about two months ago for simple tasks like cutting down existing baseboard, trim, door jambs or cut the plug hole in the plywood. Dremel 8300-01 12-Volt Cordless Multi-Max Oscillating Kit
After seeing a demonstration of a $ 19k oscillating used in orthopedic surgery, I thought it would be good to have a saw to overthrow the [nonsurgical] jobs around the house and in my home shop. Fortunately, Dremel has recently introduced this oscillating so that shares some design elements and 12V lithium battery with my Dremel rotary tool 8200th With the ability to cut out, sand, scrape, Dremel 8300 a very versatile tool that provides both mobility and strength. I have been very happy with my purchase.
After having been well impressed with my Dremel 8200, I was eager to see what other cordless tools from Dremel that I could use. Like the Dremel 8200 Rotary saw, Dremel 8300 oscillating so very solidly constructed - more robust than the Dremel rotary tool 10.8. In addition, owns both 8200 and 8300 gives the owner the benefit of three interchangeable batteries (two from 8300 oscillating saw) and two chargers.
My first test left me impressed with a combination of power Dremel 8300 with the dexterity of the user uses. In my first use of the Dremel 8300 I made the step into the soft wood and high density fiberboard without breaking sweat. In both cases it was very much controlled. Jump cuts were made orthogonal. On the other hand rotary saws ability to base semispherical throw, there is much less useful. Dremel 8300 manual suggests, from side to side excursion of the blade, only three (3) degrees. Such a narrow excursion produces cuts that are almost perfectly rectangular.
My grinding tests showed that the tool is powerful, but at the same time, makes great attention to detail. The cylindrical grip in combination with a Reuleaux triangular sanding pad gives you precise control over the effective grinding area. It is much easier to use than than even the smallest palm oscillating saw. The triangular adning pad allows the user to grind relatively tight curves. Interestingly, preventing the design of the Dremel 8300 user's hand from vibrating discomfort and numbness often experienced with traditional Sanders.
In 8300 and 8200 saw oscillating rotary tool is perfect pair for each store. The build quality, ergonomics and versatility is unmatched. After having spent less Dremel rotary tool 10.8 in the past, I can say that both 8200 and 8300 is in another class with their robustness and power. Again, the Dremel has a first class product.
